Women's Free Ski Demo Day at Loveland Ski Area April 3!

It's our last demo day of the season.  Make sure to meet us at Loveland.  You know the saying, April skiing is epic, so never miss an April  Women's Ski Demo Day. We're the only women's ski shop and the country that host demo days exclusively for women.   Skip the dude fest at the other on snow ski demos, and come ski with us. Our curated collection of skis includes only best in class selected by our team of female ski testers. You'll see skis from Kastle, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Elan, Head, Nordica, Rossignol and more.  We'll also have our ski experts right there on snow with you, to help guide you, from ski to ski. Here are a few tips on the ski demo New tab process to get you started. So put it on your calendar - and we can't wait to see you at Loveland. Ski like a girl.

Join us as the Loveland Race Club hosts a free Family Race Day on April 5! The race will take place off the Ptarmigan Lift in Bennett's Bowl from 10am - 2pm and will be open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Come out and race your friends and family for fun and bragging rights. The race is free and open to everyone. Just sign up the morning of on the Basin Patio or at the top of the course.

Colorado based country-blues musician, Earl Nelson, is reinvigorating the field of modern americana-roots music. Influenced by everything from early 20th century hill country blues & bluegrass to the groovy 1970's era country funk. Writing about the working class American, Earl's lyrics are heavily inspired by his time working in manual labor as a welder. Focusing in on ongoing labor rights struggles, the music and lyrics behave without genre boundaries.

Loveland Ski Area Blood Drive with Vitalant

Patients need you! Vitalant is facing a blood emergency as donated blood is going out to hospitals faster than donors are coming in, causing the blood supply to sink to its lowest level in a year. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially type O and platelet donors. Loveland will be hosting a blood drive from 10AM - 2 PM on Friday, April 11th.

ALL DONORS WILL RECIEVE ONE FREE LOVELAND LIFT TICKET!

The Loveland Ski Patrol is holding tryouts for volunteer and paid positions!

SheJumps Wild Skills Junior Ski Patrol Camp

April 19, 2025

Join us for SheJumps Wild Skills Junior Ski Patrol, a day camp at Loveland Ski Area on April 19, 2025! Girls will learn mountain safety and first aid while working with the strong women of Loveland Ski Area. This event is intended for intermediate to expert skiers/snowboarders ages 8-13.

This SheJumps Wild Skills event is structured as a full-day camp experience. Parents/legal guardians drop off participants for the day, who are then split into teams based on their age and ski/boarding ability. Throughout the day, participants are taught a range of outdoor skills that are utilized by ski patrollers to keep the mountain safe. We will work alongside patrollers and volunteers to learn more about the many facets of mountain safety and first aid.

Skier/Boarder Ability Level: This event is intended for intermediate to expert skiers & snowboarders. As part of the registration process, you will be asked a variety of questions about how confident the participant is on particular runs at Loveland to help us determine which group they are best suited for.

Cost: This event costs $40. If participants don't have a season pass, day lift tickets are available for participants for an additional $25. Make your relevant selection at checkout, discounted tickets will be given to participants on the day of the event. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of registration and a lift ticket. Helpful Tips

  • Bring items you usually ski with such as your backpack, snacks, water, goggles, helmet, extra gloves, waterproof jacket, etc.
  • Be honest about your skier ability when filling out registration questions. We will find a group for everyone in the intermediate-advanced range!

Loveland's Amazing Giant Easter Egg Hunt!

Join us on Easter Sunday for a Spring Skiing Giant Easter Egg Hunt! Gather at the Basin area for first chair at 8:30am and keep your eyes peeled for the giant hidden Easter Eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sport Shop, and wander the base area. Huge eggs mean huge prizes such as skis, snowboards, and tons of other awesome goodies. There are a limited number of these giant Easter Eggs hidden around the Basin on the slopes and only one can be claimed per person. There will also be thousands of small eggs for the little ones to collect around the base area.

It's more than a benefit - it's a good time with old friends and new. Join us for a fun day of spring skiing, BBQ lunch and refreshments. The day will also feature live music from Mark Morris & The Rope Duckers (with special guests), and a HUGE collection of drawing prizes while giving back to an organization that provides backcountry information and education to our community: the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC)!

Get your tickets before 4:30 pm on Friday, April 25th to help us manage check in and avoid lines! If you do miss the pre-registration cut off, we will have day-of registration from 8:30-9:30 am Saturday, April 26th.

Hawaiian shirts strongly encouraged!

8:30 am - 9:30 am: Registration (pre and day-of) in the Lower Ridge View Room.

10:30 am - 1:30 pm: Tour Loveland's Sweet Spots with a Local who knows 'em. Meet at the base of Chet's Dream.
