The people who keep Loveland’s lifts running safely and reliably are some of the hardest-working individuals on the mountain. Now, they’re getting the recognition they deserve.

Loveland Ski Area is proud to be one of just six finalists in the 2026 Rise Up Challenge, presented by SAM Magazine and Leitner-Poma of America. The annual competition celebrates the next generation of lift mechanics by highlighting rising talent alongside the mentors and teammates who help shape them.

This year’s Loveland video showcases the dedication, teamwork, and craftsmanship of our Lift Maintenance department while following up-and-coming lift mechanic Zoe Corigliano. As one of the few women pursuing a career in lift maintenance, Zoe represents the future of the industry while learning from experienced mechanics who help keep Loveland operating every day.

The winning Lift Maintenance team will receive a $3,500 education grant to support ongoing training and professional development. More importantly, the competition shines a spotlight on the skilled professionals who work behind the scenes to ensure every chairlift operates safely and efficiently throughout the season.
