ADULT NEWCOMER 3-CLASS PASS (Skiing & Snowboarding)
If you have never tried skiing or snowboarding before but always wanted to, the 3-Class Pass is the best way to get started! Sign up for three half-day ski or snowboard lesson packages, starting first with a half-day First-Timer lesson package followed by two half-day Learn to Turn or Green Run Novice lesson packages. Lesson packages include lesson, lift ticket, and equipment rental. Pay as you go, and you are eligible to purchase a season pass for just $132 after your third lesson! If you pre-purchase the three lesson packages and season pass, you will be issued a Valley Only Season Pass on your first day so you can use it all winter. The Valley Only Season Pass will be upgraded to an unrestricted season pass after the completion of your third lesson. Lessons must be completed before April 5, 2026.
Reservations are strongly recommended for all Ski & Ride School lessons, especially on weekends and holidays. Reservations can be made over the phone prior to your visit. Walk-ins will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis depending on availability. Please be aware that the only way to guarantee lesson availability is by making a reservation in advance.
**You may provide your own equipment, but that will not change the lesson package price. Lessons are not transferable. This program is only offered to those that have never skied or snowboarded before. What is the 3-Class Pass?
Loveland’s 3-Class Pass is a special program that rewards guests with a season pass after completing three lessons. It’s available for children and adult first-time skiers and riders.
Who can purchase a 3-Class Pass?

What’s included in the 3-Class Pass packages?

Child Private (ages 3–6): Three 2-hour one-on-one private lessons, full-day rental, and an unrestricted Loveland Season Pass

Child Group (ages 7–14): Three full-day group lessons (ski or snowboard), lift ticket, rental equipment, lunch, and a season pass

Adult Newcomer: Three half-day beginner group lessons, including Valley-only lift tickets, rentals, and a Loveland Season Pass (issued after the third lesson if paid per lesson, or immediately if pre-paid)
When are lessons offered?
All lessons are held at Loveland Valley.

Do I need a reservation?

Can I bring my own equipment?
You may use your own equipment, but package pricing remains the same even if you bring your own gear. Rentals are included and recommended for consistency.
