CHILD GROUP LESSONS

Let the Loveland Ski & Ride School help your little snow rider develop a lifelong love of snow sports. Our expert staff is trained specifically to help children build their confidence and skill while having tons of fun. Children are grouped based on ability to ensure the development of every child. Helmets are included in all children’s rental packages.

We want your child to have a positive, productive and fun learning experience! Let your young snowrider learn with our Ski & Ride School where we have an expert staff of instructors dedicated to teaching children exclusively. We’ll help build their skills and confidence and give each child a report card outlining their progress.

Reservations are strongly recommended for all Ski & Ride School lessons, especially on weekends and holidays. Reservations can be made over the phone prior to your visit. Walk-ins will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis depending on availability. Please be aware that the only way to guarantee lesson availability is by making a reservation in advance.

Children’s Half-Day Lessons (Ages 4-6 SKIING ONLY, MAGIC CARPET ONLY)

These 2.5-hour classes start at our new Children’s Center at Loveland Valley. Morning session starts at 10:00am and early drop off opens at 8:15am. Afternoon session starts at 1:15pm. Group lessons are limited to 4 students per instructor. All group lessons for 4–6-year-old skiers will use the Magic Carpet surface lifts only. For 4–6-year-old skiers that can stop, turn, have previous chairlift experience, and would like to utilize the chairlifts, please visit our private lesson page. Half-day lesson package includes lift ticket, rental equipment, and lesson.

Children’s Full-Day Lessons (Ages 7-14 SKIING & SNOWBOARDING)

Give your young snowrider the chance to love Loveland! These full-day lessons begin at our new Children’s Center at Loveland Valley at 10:00am and end 3:30pm – 3:45pm. Children are grouped by ability for the safety, fun and learning of all with class sizes of no more than 8. Full-day lesson package includes lift ticket, rental equipment, lesson, and lunch. Half-day afternoon lessons may be available for children at 1:15pm depending on instructor availability on a walk-in first-come-first-serve basis only.
