The World’s Highest Cornhole Competition
On Saturday, April 1, Loveland Ski Area and Pabst Blue Ribbon are excited to host the world’s highest cornhole competition, High Hole! Taking place high atop the Continental Divide, teams will battle it out to be crowned High Hole champions and claim the winner-takes-all cash prize. Not only will the altitude be a big factor in the competition, but the weather will present an entirely new set of obstacles for participants. Join us for this fun day of friendly competition with the chance to win some amazing prizes.
Competition Information:
– 2 people per team (Must be 21+ to play)
– $25 entry fee per team. Includes 2 PBRs per person, plus raffle tickets if not in the top 2 finishers.
– 16 teams in a single elimination bracket. If the payment option isn’t available, it mean’s we already have 16 teams signed up. We will keep your information on hand in case we get enough interest to build another bracket or have teams drop out.
– American Cornhole Organization rules will be used.
– First game starts at 10am. Each game will be allowed 25min, at which point the highest score at the end of 25min will be declared the winner.
– Competition will take place at the top for Lift 9 on the Continental Divide, elevation 12,700′! In case of inclement weather, venue will be moved to outside Ptarmigan Cabin.
– Weather will be an important factor in the competition. Wind, visibility, snowfall may all hinder smooth game play, but will not be grounds for re-throws, re-dos, or challenges to scores or rules.
– Teams will check in at the base of the Basin the morning of by 9am to ensure a timely start of the competition.
– Valid lift ticket our season pass required. Uphill access pass required if hiking. Intermediate to expert skiing or snowboarding ability is highly recommended.
Registration Information:
Teams must complete the registration form below. Upon clicking submit, you will be redirected to Loveland’s Online Store where the $25 team registration payment can be made. Only 16 teams will be eligible to sign up. You will receive a confirmation email to let you know that you are signed up. Refunds will not be offered to teams that do not show up. If you try to register and cannot complete the payment option, it means we have reached the 16 teams. Still sign up and we will contact you if we have enough interest to build another bracket or need backup teams.
