    Loveland Ski Area Blood Drive

    Loveland Ski Area Blood Drive

    10:00 am – 2:00 pm
    March 30, 2023

Nonprofit Vitalant is urging all eligible blood donors to give in March to help patients amid a prolonged blood shortage, compounded by inclement weather. Cold, snow and other adverse weather conditions across the country canceled blood drives, preventing more than 1,300 donations to go uncollected in February alone, including more than 760 donations in Colorado and the surrounding region.

Blood donors who donate with Vitalant in March will automatically be entered to win one of 2, $10,000 prepaid gift cards, to be used wherever accepted, enough to buy groceries for a year. In addition, all donors are invited to join Vitalant’s donor recognition program. With each donation, donors can receive points toward thank-you gifts redeemable online.

    Upcoming Blood Drives:

Loveland Ski Area has been hosting blood drives with Vitalant since 2017, and we are excited to be partnering again for their upcoming spring blood drive on Thursday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Loveland Basin in the Upper Ridge Room.

All donors who give blood at the Loveland Ski Area blood drive will receive a FREE lift ticket!

Donors can make an appointment by visiting donors.vitalant.org and searching blood drive code: B124. Donors can also follow this link to sign up.

Loveland Ski Area blood drives have helped collect 237 lifesaving units of blood to help patients in need.

Learn more at vitalant.org, download and use the Vitalant app or call 877-25-VITAL (877-258-4825). Visit vitalant.org/marchgift for details on the prepaid gift card giveaway.

Kenny was born in Bellevue, WA, but was raised in Midland and Sanford, MI. He began singing in choirs at a very young age up through high school. During this time, Kenny was the lead singer in a garage band group called "Rook" which focused on alternative rock.

He began winning talent shows and playing in local coffee shops and bars throughout the next few years, and at the age of 22 was when he released his first album "All Sides of the Spectrum".

Not long after the release, Kenny moved to Denver, CO. His solo career really took a leap forward where made his mark by opening up for Common at CSU and Brad Corrigan from Dispatch at DU. He also released and EP in 2007 called "No Time to Waste" as well as three live albums. He has also been the front man for projects like "Left Hand Cheater", "My Friend Tom", "Pearls for Breakfast", and "Kenny Lee & the Young Souls" while maintaining his solo career.
