April 3, 2026(2 events) Ski for Science, Support Parkinson’s Research All Day The Parkinson's Foundation hosts a Ski-A-Thon at Loveland to raise funds for Parkinson's research. Ski for Science is an alpine ski event for all ages, featuring live music, a mountain scavenger hunt, barbecue lunch, raffle prizes, and a silent auction—all in support of Parkinson’s research. Come enjoy a day on the slopes, connect with community (including a PD researcher), and help move science forward toward better treatments and a cure. Event timeline: Check in begins at 9:30am, with the scavenger hunt beginning at 10:30am. A barbecue lunch will be served at noon and will be followed by a short program starting at 2:30pm. Live music and activities will continue from 3-5pm, with the lifts closing at 4pm. Live Music: Drone Rodeo – Led by guitarist Colin Mckinley and bassist Will Bemiss, with Nick Summers on drums and Jack Haley playing the fiddle, this group brings new energy to an old style. Complete with song mashups of hand-picked covers, this is a dance party that doesn't stop! 2:30-5:30PM |

Racers from across the country dress up and travel to Colorado for the last race of the season. Don't miss out on costumes, BBQs and fast paced racing fun! Shinobi Showdown – Join us at the Loveland Valley on Saturday, April 11, 2026, for the Shinobi Showdown, a ground trick snowboard competition! Winners will be decided on style, fluidity and variation. Best tricks will also be considered. Professional level riding not required, just passionate riders. We will talk walk-up registration on the lower Valley patio, but participants are encouraged to pre-register here! Live Music: River Spell – River Spell, formed in 2022, is a Colorado-based folk/rock jam band that delivers immersive grooves and contemplative lyricism with a timeless, yet innovative blend of sounds. April 17, 2026(1 event) Live Music: Goinomadic – Join GOINOMADIC at the Loveland Basin from 2:30 - 5:30pm on Friday, April 17! GOINOMADIC is a collaborative of musical comrades based out Southwest Colorado. The songs are original compositions of third-generation singer-songwriter, Aaron Dunn whose sound and lyrics are shaped by his Southern roots and his journey from the sea to the mountains. Long time friends and backcountry buds round out the band mix. Zippy Scott has been laying down the OG mandolin sound since day one with the whale noise effects and oceans of echoes drifting into distant dissonance. Jacob Parchinski, percussionist and sound man has held the beat down steady on the hand drums since 2017 occasionally incorporating the digeridoo to get things weird. Slayer Sean rips radical riffs on the on lead guitar with an acute up-tone style that keeps the energy high from peak to peak. Julien Marcos Hood has been on board since 2019 bringing the signature lead bass riffs to the table to spice things up with a blend of effects and backing vocals. They have been performing together all around Colorado since 2017 sharing the stage with regional acts, The Runaway Grooms and Colony Funk as well as National touring acts, Toubab Krewe and the North Mississippi All-Stars at Fibark Whitewater Festival in 2018. Their music is steeped in life, love, and the landscapes that inspire them—from the slow pace of Florida’s coast to the rugged beauty of Colorado. The sound is a soulful infusion of alternative indie jamrock that ebbs and flows from the trees to the seas… |

The race will take place off the Ptarmigan Lift in Bennett's Bowl from 10am - 2pm and will be open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Come out and race your friends and family for fun and bragging rights. The race is free and open to everyone. Just sign up the morning of at the E-Tow Cabin at the bottom of the racecourse. Ptarmigan Ptunes: Andy Reiner, Charlie Rose & Ben Weiss – Andy plays Pre-Historic Americana: cosmic acoustic grooves influenced by Appalachian, Bluegrass, Celtic, Scandinavian and Pre-Historic music. He loves to play fiddle tunes, songs and Bach on top of Colorado 14ers. Dance and wiggle to their original and traditional songs and tunes performed on cello, fiddle, octave mandolin, and clawhammer banjo with sweet vocal harmonies! Live Music: Mountain Time String Band – Brett Kretzer is an accomplished roots and bluegrass mandolinist, teacher, writer and outdoorsman currently living Golden, Colorado. While his roots are in the rich traditions of old time and bluegrass music, that certainly isn’t the limit of his influences, and he isn’t afraid to venture outside of the box and explore other musical genres. Loveland is only 53 miles west of Denver (just before the Eisenhower tunnel) and 12 miles east of Summit County on I-70, at Exit 216.
