Ski With a Forest Service Ranger - Weekend Session

The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Loveland's Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at either 10:30am or 1:30pm for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early.
The Ski With a Ranger Program will be taking place once a month until the end of the season. Other Ski With a Ranger Dates include February 13, 23, March 13, 30, April 10. Make plans to join us and learn more about the great world in which we live!
The Outdoor Divas visits Loveland for a women's specific demo day. This is your chance to come and try all the latest women's ski equipment before you buy it. Click Here to RSVP, or stop by one of the Outdoor Divas locations. There is no cost to participate, although a driver's license and credit card are required for deposit as is a valid lift ticket.
Brands that will be available for demo include Kastle, Rossignol, K2, Icelantic, Volkl, Blizzard, Nordica, and Dynastar. Please contact Outdoor Divas for specific model information.
ROMP Skis is a small locally owned ski company from Crested Butte, Colorado. The company specializes in custom built skis designed to perform the exact way that the user desires or needs them to. This is achieved by crafting them individually to ensure that they perform to the highest benefit to the skier. The skis are designed and manufactured in Crested Butte using innovative technologies and materials and have been selected as winners of the Backcountry Magazine’s Editors Choice Award for four years including 2018.
Come visit us on Saturday, January 5 for you chance to try a pair at no cost. A valid driver's license and credit card for deposit are required as is a valid lift ticket.

Come take their latest, greatest decks out for a test drive on January 12 at Loveland Ski Area! Demos are free, but you must be 18 or older and have a lift ticket, credit card and driver's license handy.
Bent Gate Mountaineering visits Loveland to host a demo day with their line of alpine touring, telemark, splitboard and now avalanche gear. Pre-register with Bent Gate to receive a discount lift ticket. There is no cost to participate, although a driver's license and credit card are required for deposit as is a valid lift ticket.
Brands that will be available for demo include: Black Crows, DPS, Dynafit, G3, Icelantic, K2, RMU, Voile, Scarpa, Dynafit, Salomon, Rossignol. Fleet will be mounted with tele, standard AT, and tech AT bindings. Contact Bent Gate for exact models.
The Loveland Ski Club hosts a masters giant slalom race at Loveland Valley. The runs Twist and Switchback will be closed for the day to accommodate the race.
