The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Loveland's Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at 10:30am for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early).

Half Pelican (Andy Reiner and Dr. Joy Adams) plays Pre-Historic Americana: cosmic acoustic grooves influenced by Appalachian, Bluegrass, Celtic, Scandinavian and Pre-Historic music. They love to play fiddle tunes, songs and Bach on top of Colorado 14ers. Dance and wiggle to their original and traditional songs and tunes performed on cello, fiddle, octave mandolin, and clawhammer banjo with sweet vocal harmonies!
Join us this St. Paddy's Day as Loveland Celebrates the luck of the Irish. We will be serving up corned beef and cabbage for lunch in the Basin Cafeteria and pouring some green beer in the bars. After years of experiment and development, Alex Mackenzie-Low (a.k.a. A-Mac – Vocals & Guitar) has united his latest musical brotherhood, known as The Height. The band features six of Denver’s premiere musicians including Stephen “Eski” Edwards (Bass), Jake Setters (Drums), Johnny Bosbyshell (Keyboards) and Greg King (Lead Guitar). A-Mac & The Height continues to break the mold and expand impact over a wide range of music lovers.
Two Faces West is a Denver based power trio with a sound described as a fiery blend of rock & blues, which focuses on the roots of blues while expressing its core in pure rock n' roll, and topping it off with a touch of funk to create a versatile and distinctive Colorado sound: Crankin' Electric Rock & Blues! The faces have spent over a decade crafting their music and have established themselves as one of the premier live acts in the Mile High Music Scene in their short time since relocating to Denver from the Colorado Mountains in 2015. TFW has shared the stage with national acts such as The Allman Betts Band, Chris Daniels & The Kings, Otis Taylor Band, Gramatik, and more!
Amy Rose Scott is an Acoustic Folk Musician who has played as a Solo Artist throughout Colorado Since moving to the Rocky Mountains in 2012. Her influences include Emmylou Harris, Linda Rondstadt, and her Musical Hero Patsy Cline. Amy Rose has been featured on the cover of The Clear Creek Courant and is the proud recipient of 2021 Idaho Springs Best of Live Music Award. She currently resides in her beloved town of Georgetown, CO with her Husband and Fur Baby.

Do you enjoy helping others, working outdoors in a spectacular mountain environment and bring a member of an elite team? On Saturday, March 26, 2022, the Loveland Ski Patrol will be hosting tryouts for both volunteer and paid positions. If you are an expert alpine skier, telemark skier or snowboarder, and can ski or ride our expert terrain with confidence, please come join us. If needed, you will receive a complimentary lift ticket for the day. Pre-registration is required. To reserve your spot, and to get additional information, please email lsptryout2022@gmail.com. In your email, please include 1.) your name; 2.) indicate whether you ski or snowboard and; 3.) indicate whether you intend to tryout for the paid patrol or volunteer. Detailed information regarding meeting time(s) and location will be emailed to registered participants.
Those who pass a tryout will be invited to become Loveland Ski Patrol Candidates and to participate in our three main training courses which must be completed as a prerequisite for membership. These include:

Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) Class
Outdoor Emergency Transport (OET) Class

Kenny was born in Bellevue, WA, but was raised in Midland and Sanford, MI. He began singing in choirs at a very young age up through high school. During this time, Kenny was the lead singer in a garage band group called "Rook" which focused on alternative rock.
It wasn't until going to college at Central Michigan University where he picked up the guitar as a freshman. He began winning talent shows and playing in local coffee shops and bars throughout the next few years, and at the age of 22 was when he released his first album "All Sides of the Spectrum".
Not long after the release, Kenny moved to Denver, CO. His solo career really took a leap forward where made his mark by opening up for Common at CSU and Brad Corrigan from Dispatch at DU. He also released and EP in 2007 called "No Time to Waste" as well as three live albums. He has also been the front man for projects like "Left Hand Cheater", "My Friend Tom", "Pearls for Breakfast", and "Kenny Lee & the Young Souls" while maintaining his solo career.

In Space Orphan's short history, they have already shared the stage with the legendary George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Victor Wooten (Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten Trio), Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Dennis Chambers (Santana, ParliamentFunkadelic), as well as members of The Motet, Big Gigantic, Snarky Puppy, Leftover Salmon, Kyle Hollingsworth Band and Lettuce. Their debut record, Shut Up About The Sun, was named one of the 20 Best Funk Albums of 2016.
Drawing influence from old-time music, country, Americana, and bluegrass, Local Folk invokes high lonesome soulful sounds. Local Folk members have played festival bills with acts such as Sierra Hull, The RailSplitters, NRPS, Hot Rize, and many more.

The Strung High String Band returns to Loveland with classic and traditional bluegrass tunes and moves forward with some of their unique tracks and other fun melodies. Relax after an amazing day on the slopes with great music and drink specials.
The Loveland Valley, home to the Ski & Ride School and the Loveland Ski Club, will close for the 2021/22 season on Sunday, April 2, 2022. After Sunday, April 3, all services and amenities will be closed to the public. Private Lessons for all ages and abilities will still be available through Closing Day on May 8, 2022.
