All Mountain Mission Presented by Proteus Snowboards

Proteus Snowboards, Cabin Creek Brewing, The Golden Mill and YoColorado team up to make snowboard demos more fun! Come try a Proteus Snowboard and sign up to complete missions around the mountain, earn points and win prizes! Participants can sign up for the missions without getting a demo snowboard, the event is open to skiers or snowboarders.
Stop by the Proteus Snowboards tent on the Lower Patio in between the Ticket Office and Repair Shop to receive instructions to download the mission app to know how to get points while you are enjoying the slopes for the day.
DJ Matt Cassidy will be spinning tunes during the day while participants are competing followed by live music from Dan Costello on the Upper Main Patio from 2:30 - 5:30PM.
Half Pelican plays Pre-Historic Americana: cosmic acoustic grooves influenced by Appalachian, Bluegrass, Celtic, Scandinavian and Pre-Historic music. They love to play fiddle tunes, songs and Bach on top of Colorado 14ers. Dance and wiggle to their original and traditional songs and tunes performed on cello, fiddle, octave mandolin, and clawhammer banjo with sweet vocal harmonies!
Loveland's favorite metalgrass band is back! Dr. Joy Adams and Andy Reiner team up to give us one of the best shows at the Basin... Half Pelican! This year they're back with some special guests to help them electrify the patio. Join Half Pelican from 2:00-5:00 PM on Sunday!
Women's Free Ski Demo Day at Loveland Ski Area March 6!
It's our last demo day of the season. Make sure to meet us at Loveland. You know the saying, April skiing is epic, so never miss an April Women's Ski Demo Day. We're the only women's ski shop and the country that host demo days exclusively for women. Skip the dude fest at the other on snow ski demos, and come ski with us. Our curated collection of skis includes only best in class selected by our team of female ski testers. You'll see skis from Kastle, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Elan, Head, Nordica, Rossignol and more. We'll also have our ski experts right there on snow with you, to help guide you, from ski to ski. Two Faces West was founded in the small mountain town of Gunnison, Colorado and relocated to the mile high city of Denver in the fall of 2015, where they have burst into the music scene as one of its premier live acts! In just a few short years of living in the city, the Faces have made quite a name for themselves everywhere from small mountain town bars to shows at iconic Denver venues. The TFW sound is described as a fiery blend of rock & blues, which focuses on the roots of blues, while expressing its core in pure rock’n’roll, and topping it off with a touch of funk to create a versatile and distinctive Colorado sound: Crankin’ Electric Rock & Blues!

River Spell, formed in 2022, is a Colorado-based folk/rock jam band that delivers immersive grooves and contemplative lyricism with a timeless, yet innovative blend of sounds. Brett Kretzer is an accomplished roots and bluegrass mandolinist, teacher, writer and outdoorsman currently living Golden, Colorado. While his roots are in the rich traditions of old time and bluegrass music, that certainly isn’t the limit of his influences and he isn’t afraid to venture outside of the box and explore other musical genres.

Backcountry Magazine returns for a stop of Backcountry BASECAMP at Loveland Ski Area on March 29 and 30, 2025. For more than 20 years, Backcountry Magazine has been committed to educating its community on how to safely travel untracked terrain and now were taking the message from the pages to the people.
As they travel throughout the country spreading safety and stoke, join the editors of Backcountry Magazine, alongside guides, forecasters, AIARE instructors and gear experts for a resort-based showcase of all things backcountry. We’ll have ski and board demos, educational workshops and tons of new gear to check out.
Fat Tire, Chill Foundation and Loveland Ski Area team up to bring back what has easily become one of Loveland's most popular events, the Loveland Scavenger Hunt presented by Fat Tire! Registration begins at 9AM on the Lower Basin Patio. $10 per person, teams can have 1-4 people. Registration includes a free beer! Wearing costumes will help your team earn points! The competition will start at 10AM sharp, and teams will have until 2:30PM to race around the mountain and hunt down each item on their clue sheet.
Prizes will be awarded for the most points earned and everyone over 21 gets to enjoy delicious New Belgium Beer at the Post-Hunt Celebration from 3-5PM complete with live music. Chill will be running a raffle with a ton of great prizes.
The Scavenger Hunt will raise funds to benefit the Chill Foundation’s New tab mission of inspiring youth through board sports and building a more equitable outdoor community. Come on out for an epic day!

The John Weeks Band is a high energy blues/rock band based in Denver, Colorado. John formed the band in 2013 and they have since garnered recognition and awards as one of the top bands in Colorado. Here's how it works---take the blues, ship it to Europe, mix it up, shake it around, add killer groove and seriously good vocals and you get the sound and flavor of the John Weeks Band. The music is based on classic blues lines, but they take it in some unique and different directions. Put it all together and you get a seriously powerful yet melodic sound that is unique to this band!

Colorado based country-blues musician, Earl Nelson, is reinvigorating the field of modern americana-roots music. Influenced by everything from early 20th century hill country blues & bluegrass to the groovy 1970's era country funk. Writing about the working class American, Earl's lyrics are heavily inspired by his time working in manual labor as a welder. Focusing in on ongoing labor rights struggles, the music and lyrics behave without genre boundaries.
