December 13, 2017Unfortunately, the Wednesday, December 13 Ski with a Ranger Program has been cancelled. Other dates include January 10, 27, February 14, 24, March 14, 31, April 11.
The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at 1:30pm for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early.)
The Ski With a Ranger Program will be taking place twice a month until the end of the season. Other Ski With a Ranger Dates include January 10, 27, February 14, 24, March 14, 31, April 11. Make plans to join us and learn more about the great world in which we live!

December 23, 2017Every Christmas Santa takes time out of his busy schedule to ski at his favorite area, Loveland! This year is no different as he makes his appearance on the 24 and 25. Not only will he be cruising the slopes, but also visiting the Ski & Ride School and Loveland Valley as he hands out candy to the young ones and poses for photos. Don't miss out on some great holiday skiing and a chance to catch Skiing Santa!

December 30, 2017The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Loveland's Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at either 10:30am or 1:30pm for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early.
