Loveland Ski Area and Love Park are excited to announce a very merry rail jam happening on Saturday, December 23rd! Everyone of all ages is invited to get in the Christmas spirit and shred Love Park on the 23rd, and no pre-registration is required. Simply show up and show us your best tricks!
Prizes will be awarded to the best overall contestant, most creative trick, and best dressed (we would love to see buddy the elf throw a 360). Santa and his elves will be watching - so show them your best and win a prize!
The Holly Jolly Rail Jam will be taking place from 12-2 PM, Saturday, December 23rd. Riders meeting to go over competition rules at 11:30AM in the terrain park. If you are under 18, you will need to have a parent/guardian sign your waiver before the event.
Join us as the Loveland Race Club hosts a free Family Race Day on March 16! The race will take place off the Ptarmigan Lift in Bennett's Bowl from 10am - 2pm and will be open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Come out and race your friends and family for fun and bragging rights. The race is free and open to everyone. Just sign up the morning of on the Basin Patio or at the top of the course.

If you are an expert alpine skier, telemark skier or snowboarder, and can ski or ride our expert terrain with confidence, please come join us! •The tryout is an informal, half day of fun where you are given an opportunity not only to demonstrate your ski/snowboard/telemark skills, but also to ask questions and get more details. If needed, you will receive a complimentary lift ticket for the day.
•Pre-registration is required. To reserve your tryout spot, fill out the form at the link below.
•Once your registration has been completed you will receive an email which will detail what to expect on the day of the tryout.
•Those who pass a tryout will be invited to become Loveland Ski Patrol Candidates and to participate in our three main training courses which must be completed as a prerequisite for membership.
These include:
1. CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
2. Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) Class that typically commences in late August.
3. Outdoor Emergency Transport (OET) class… in other words toboggan training, which typically starts the second weekend of January depending on snow conditions.

Join Never Summer Pro Riders at Loveland for a freestyle rail jam!
This event is open to all ages and abilities. Registration is free but participants must register and sign a liability waiver before being eligible to compete. Never Summer will be there judging the event, giving pointers, giving away tons of gear and spreading stoke!
After registration, and a short practice period, the event will start! The “Jam” style event means unlimited amount of runs/attempts within the 2 hour competition window. Riders can ride the chair, or “hike” the features for most possible attempts.
After the event, 3 snowboard winners will be chosen from kids, women's and men's categories followed by an old school product toss.
