The 31st Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation!
Registration will open at 12:00pm MST on Friday, January 7, 2022. Registering before the event is the only way to guarantee that each couple will receive the goodie bag, reception treats and be eligible to purchase the Marry Me Ski for Free 2-for-1 lift ticket special, a total of $94 and discounted lunch vouchers for the day of the event. Check-in the morning of the event is still required for preregistered couples. Wedding cupcakes, cider and beer coupons will be provided complimentary for preregistered couples.
Notes to consider before registering:
Participants and guest must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
Couples getting married are required to obtain a valid Colorado Marriage License and need to bring marriage licenses to morning check-in on the day of the event to be signed. Click Here for Clear Creek County marriage license information.
Forest Meadow is located just under 12,000 feet and that dressing warmly is important even on a sunny day. The wedding will not be rescheduled because of snow or cold weather, so be prepared!

The ceremony is done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30am.
Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
The Honeymooner's Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30pm at the Loveland Basin featuring wedding cupcakes and sparkling apple cider!

Join the Powder7 ladies along with SheJumps here at Loveland Ski Area to ski some of their favorite skis! To join this ladies specific demo day, participants must register with Powder7. Demo time will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Check-in starts at 8:45 am. Details on where to meet will be emailed out to registered participants along with a request form for your binding settings.

On Sunday, February 27, 2022, the Loveland Ski Patrol will be hosting tryouts for both volunteer and paid positions. If you are an expert alpine skier, telemark skier or snowboarder, and can ski or ride our expert terrain with confidence, please come join us. If needed, you will receive a complimentary lift ticket for the day. Pre-registration is required. To reserve your spot, and to get additional information, please email lsptryout2022@gmail.com. In your email, please include 1.) your name; 2.) indicate whether you ski or snowboard and; 3.) indicate whether you intend to tryout for the paid patrol or volunteer. Detailed information regarding meeting time(s) and location will be emailed to registered participants.
Those who pass a tryout will be invited to become Loveland Ski Patrol Candidates and to participate in our three main training courses which must be completed as a prerequisite for membership. These include:

Celebrate World Telemark Day at Loveland on Saturday, March 5 with Bishop Telemark Skis and Bindings! Stop by their demos tents outside the Basin Administration Office where they will be offering free telemark demos throughout the day. Come show off your free heal skills with a tele-limbo! New Belgium Brewing and Loveland Ski Area team up to bring back what has easily become one of Loveland's most popular events, the New Belgium Brewing Mountain Adventure Scavenger Hunt! Start by building your team of up to 4 people, give yourselves a unique team name, and pick out some creative costumes for bonus points! Register the morning of starting at 9am on the lower patio at Loveland Basin. Once your team receives your clue sheet, spend the day chasing chickens, searching for Yeti and answering some ridiculous riddles all while enjoying a great day skiing and riding on the slopes of Loveland. Clue sheets are due back to Scavenger Hunt Headquarters at the base at 2:30pm prompt, so don't be late and risk losing points! Prizes will be awarded for the most points earned and everyone over 21 gets to enjoy delicious New Belgium Beer at the Post-Hunt Celebration from 3-5pm complete with Live Music!

Join Never Summer Pro Riders at Loveland for a freestyle rail jam!
This event is open to all ages and abilities. Registration is free but participants must register and sign a liability waiver before being eligible to compete. Never Summer will be there judging the event, giving pointers, giving away tons of gear and spreading stoke!
After registration, and a short practice period, the event will start! The “Jam” style event means unlimited amount of runs/attempts within the 2 hour competition window. Riders can ride the chair, or “hike” the features for most possible attempts.
After the event, 3 snowboard winners will be chosen from kids, women's and men's categories followed by an old school product toss.
The Loveland Valley, home to the Ski & Ride School and the Loveland Ski Club, will close for the 2021/22 season on Sunday, April 2, 2022. After Sunday, April 3, all services and amenities will be closed to the public. Private Lessons for all ages and abilities will still be available through Closing Day on May 8, 2022. Gather at the Basin area for first chair at 8:30am and keep your eyes peeled for the giant hidden Easter Eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sport Shop, and wander the base area. Huge eggs mean huge prizes such as skis, snowboards, and tons of other awesome goodies. There are a limited number of these giant Easter Eggs hidden around the Basin and only one can be claimed per person. Women's Free Ski Demo Day at Loveland Ski Area December 1st!
Our free women's ski demo days are back!! Kick off the ski season with our women's only demo day! We're the only women's ski shop and the country that host demo days exclusively for women. Skip the dude fest at the other on snow ski demos, and come ski with us. Our curated collection of skis includes only best in class selected by our team of female ski testers. You'll see skis from Kastle, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Elan, Head, and more. We'll also have our ski experts right there on snow with you, to help guide you, from ski to ski. Not only will he be cruising the slopes, but also visiting the Ski & Ride School and Loveland Valley to spread holiday cheer and pose for photos. Don't miss out on some great holiday skiing and a chance to catch Skiing Santa!
Loveland Ski Area and Love Park are excited to announce a very merry rail jam happening on Christmas Eve! Everyone of all ages is invited to get in the Christmas spirit and shred Love Park on the 24th, and no pre-registration is required. Simply show up and show us your best tricks!
Prizes will be awarded to the best overall contestant, most creative trick, and best dressed (we would love to see buddy the elf throw a 360). Santa and his elves will be watching - so show them your best and maybe get some swag!
The Holly Jolly Rail Jam will be taking place from 12-2 PM, Saturday, December 24th. If you are under 18, you will need to have a parent/guardian sign your waiver before the event.

The 32nd Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation!
Registration will open at 12:00pm MST on Friday, December 30, 2022. Registering before the event is the only way to guarantee that each couple will receive the goodie bag, reception treats and be eligible to purchase the Marry Me Ski for Free 2-for-1 lift ticket special, a total of $119 and discounted lunch vouchers for the day of the event. Check-in the morning of the event is still required for preregistered couples. Wedding cupcakes, cider and beer coupons will be provided complimentary for preregistered couples.
Notes to consider before registering:
Participants and guest must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
Couples getting married are required to obtain a valid Colorado Marriage License and need to bring marriage licenses to morning check-in on the day of the event to be signed. Click Here for Clear Creek County marriage license information.
Forest Meadow is located just under 12,000 feet and that dressing warmly is important even on a sunny day. The wedding will not be rescheduled because of snow or cold weather, so be prepared!
