With hook-driven songwriting and a cohesive blend of reggae, hip-hop, funk and alternative rock, the group thrives on overcoming musical boundaries. Their immersive message and feel good energy has proven to bring together beautiful people from coast to coast.

The Denver, CO based band has a charismatic approach fueled by conscious thinking, with lyrics that are uplifting, relatable, and insightful. Bringing an energetic and moving live performance, A-Mac & The Height encourages their audience to partake in a genuine and united musical journey with them. Similarly, the group is known for creating intricate and extended musical passages through improvisation and faith in the unknown.

In addition to fearlessly touring the majority of the United States within their first year of forming, the band has also put out two full length albums. Young, bold and determined, the group is fascinated with pushing the envelope of artistic expression, paying homage to many of the greats including Sublime, Bob Marley, Dr. Dre and Grateful Dead.

After years of experiment and development, Alex Mackenzie-Low (a.k.a. A-Mac – Vocals &  Guitar) has united his latest musical brotherhood, known as The Height. The band features six of Denver’s premiere musicians including Stephen “Eski” Edwards (Bass), Jake Setters (Drums), Johnny Bosbyshell (Keyboards) and Greg King (Lead Guitar). A-Mac & The Height continues to break the mold and expand impact over a wide range of music lovers.

Live Music: Kenny Lee Young Duo

March 12, 2023

Kenny was born in Bellevue, WA, but was raised in Midland and Sanford, MI. He began singing in choirs at a very young age up through high school. During this time, Kenny was the lead singer in a garage band group called "Rook" which focused on alternative rock.

It wasn't until going to college at Central Michigan University where he picked up the guitar as a freshman. He began winning talent shows and playing in local coffee shops and bars throughout the next few years, and at the age of 22 was when he released his first album "All Sides of the Spectrum".

Not long after the release, Kenny moved to Denver, CO. His solo career really took a leap forward where made his mark by opening up for Common at CSU and Brad Corrigan from Dispatch at DU. He also released and EP in 2007 called "No Time to Waste" as well as three live albums. He has also been the front man for projects like "Left Hand Cheater", "My Friend Tom", "Pearls for Breakfast", and "Kenny Lee & the Young Souls" while maintaining his solo career.
