Lift 2 Closed for Maintenance; Beginner Terrain Open at Loveland Valley

Loveland Ski Area would like to share an important operational update for our guests.

Lift 2 is currently closed for maintenance, effective immediately, and will remain closed until further notice. While maintenance work is underway, we’re ensuring beginner skiers and riders continue to have a great on-mountain experience by directing all beginner traffic to Loveland Valley.

Beginner Terrain Fully Open at Loveland Valley

Although Lift 2 is temporarily unavailable, excellent beginner terrain is fully open at Loveland Valley, served by Chairs 3 and 7. The Valley has long been known as one of the best learning areas in the country and offers a comfortable, confidence-building environment for new skiers and snowboarders.

A Better Learning Environment

Loveland Valley provides a more secluded and relaxed learning atmosphere, ideal for beginners. Our recently enhanced Zig Zag trail offers a smooth, natural progression path that helps guests build skills and confidence as they advance.

Easy Access with Free Shuttle

Getting to Loveland Valley is quick and easy. Guests can hop on the free shuttle located at the bottom of the steps, which will drop them off at the Valley base area in just a few minutes.

We appreciate your patience as we complete maintenance work on Lift 2 and thank you for choosing Loveland Ski Area. Our teams remain focused on providing the best possible experience for guests of all ability levels.
