32nd Annual Mountaintop Matrimony Registration OPENS32nd Annual Mountaintop Matrimony Registration OPENS – The 32nd Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation! Registration will open at 12:00pm MST on Friday, December 30, 2022. Registering before the event is the only way to guarantee that each couple will receive the goodie bag, reception treats and be eligible to purchase the Marry Me Ski for Free 2-for-1 lift ticket special, a total of $119 and discounted lunch vouchers for the day of the event. Check-in the morning of the event is still required for preregistered couples. Wedding cupcakes, cider and beer coupons will be provided complimentary for preregistered couples. Loveland Ski Area Blood DriveLoveland Ski Area Blood Drive – Patients need you! Vitalant is facing a blood emergency as donated blood is going out to hospitals faster than donors are coming in, causing the blood supply to sink to its lowest level in a year. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially type O and platelet donors. Loveland is hosting a blood drive from 10AM - 2 PM in the Upper Ridge Room on Friday, January 27th. ALL DONORS WILL RECIEVE ONE FREE LOVELAND LIFT TICKET TO USE ANY DAY THIS SEASON! Loveland's 32nd Annual Mountaintop MatrimonyLoveland's 32nd Annual Mountaintop Matrimony – The 32nd Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation. The ceremony is done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30am. Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders. The Honeymooner's Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30pm at the Loveland Basin featuring wedding cupcakes and sparkling apple cider! Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at 10:30am for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early). Loveland Ski Area Blood DriveLoveland Ski Area Blood Drive – Nonprofit Vitalant is urging all eligible blood donors to give in March to help patients amid a prolonged blood shortage, compounded by inclement weather. Cold, snow and other adverse weather conditions across the country canceled blood drives, preventing more than 1,300 donations to go uncollected in February alone, including more than 760 donations in Colorado and the surrounding region. Blood donors who donate with Vitalant in March will automatically be entered to win one of 2, $10,000 prepaid gift cards, to be used wherever accepted, enough to buy groceries for a year. In addition, all donors are invited to join Vitalant’s donor recognition program. With each donation, donors can receive points toward thank-you gifts redeemable online. Upcoming Blood Drives: Loveland Ski Area has been hosting blood drives with Vitalant since 2017, and we are excited to be partnering again for their upcoming spring blood drive on Thursday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Loveland Basin in the Upper Ridge Room. All donors who give blood at the Loveland Ski Area blood drive will receive a FREE lift ticket! Donors can make an appointment by visiting donors.vitalant.org and searching blood drive code: B124. Registration begins at 9AM on the Lower Basin Patio. $10 per person, teams can have 1-4 people. Registration includes a free beer! Wearing costumes will help your team earn points! The competition will start at 10AM sharp, and teams will have until 2:30PM to race around the mountain and hunt down each item on their clue sheet. Prizes will be awarded for the most points earned and everyone over 21 gets to enjoy delicious New Belgium Beer at the Post-Hunt Celebration from 3-5pm complete with Live Music!
