Big Mountain Snowboard Team Trial DayBig Mountain Snowboard Team Trial Day – Do you want to take your riding to the next level on high-alpine and expert terrain? Join the Loveland Ski Club for their Big Mountain Snowboard Team Trail Day on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Riders ages 13-18 are invited to join snowboard coaches, Italo and Jess, and the Loveland Big Mountain Freeride Ski Team for a fun day ripping around Loveland to see if the NEW 2021/22 Loveland Big Mountain Snowboard Competition Team is right for you! Loveland's 31st Annual Mountaintop Matrimony RegistrationLoveland's 31st Annual Mountaintop Matrimony Registration The 31st Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation! Registration will open at 12:00pm MST on Friday, January 7, 2022. Registering before the event is the only way to guarantee that each couple will receive the goodie bag, reception treats and be eligible to purchase the Marry Me Ski for Free 2-for-1 lift ticket special, a total of $94 and discounted lunch vouchers for the day of the event. Loveland's 31st Annual Mountaintop MatrimonyLoveland's 31st Annual Mountaintop MatrimonyFebruary 14, 2022 The 31st Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation. The ceremony is done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30am. Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders. The Honeymooner's Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30pm at the Loveland Basin featuring wedding cupcakes and sparkling apple cider! On Sunday, February 27, 2022, the Loveland Ski Patrol will be hosting tryouts for both volunteer and paid positions. If you are an expert alpine skier, telemark skier or snowboarder, and can ski or ride our expert terrain with confidence, please come join us. Start by building your team of up to 4 people, give yourselves a unique team name, and pick out some creative costumes for bonus points! Register the morning of starting at 9am on the lower patio at Loveland Basin. Once your team receives your clue sheet, spend the day chasing chickens, searching for Yeti and answering some ridiculous riddles all while enjoying a great day skiing and riding on the slopes of Loveland. Clue sheets are due back to Scavenger Hunt Headquarters at the base at 2:30pm prompt, so don't be late and risk losing points! Prizes will be awarded for the most points earned and everyone over 21 gets to enjoy delicious New Belgium Beer at the Post-Hunt Celebration from 3-5pm complete with Live Music! Live Music: Kenny Lee Young DuoLive Music: Kenny Lee Young Duo – Kenny was born in Bellevue, WA, but was raised in Midland and Sanford, MI. He began singing in choirs at a very young age up through high school. During this time, Kenny was the lead singer in a garage band group called "Rook" which focused on alternative rock. It wasn't until going to college at Central Michigan University where he picked up the guitar as a freshman. He began winning talent shows and playing in local coffee shops and bars throughout the next few years, and at the age of 22 was when he released his first album "All Sides of the Spectrum". Not long after the release, Kenny moved to Denver, CO. His solo career really took a leap forward where made his mark by opening up for Common at CSU and Brad Corrigan from Dispatch at DU. He also released and EP in 2007 called "No Time to Waste" as well as three live albums. He has also been the front man for projects like "Left Hand Cheater", "My Friend Tom", "Pearls for Breakfast", and "Kenny Lee & the Young Souls" while maintaining his solo career. |

This event is open to all guests and there is no cost to participate. Never Summer Cheddar Tour Rail JamNever Summer Cheddar Tour Rail Jam – Join Never Summer Pro Riders at Loveland for a freestyle rail jam! This event is open to all ages and abilities. Registration is free but participants must register and sign a liability waiver before being eligible to compete. Never Summer will be there judging the event, giving pointers, giving away tons of gear and spreading stoke! After registration, and a short practice period, the event will start! The “Jam” style event means unlimited amount of runs/attempts within the 2 hour competition window. Riders can ride the chair, or “hike” the features for most possible attempts. After the event, 3 snowboard winners will be chosen from kids, women's and men's categories followed by an old school product toss.

After Sunday, April 3, all services and amenities will be closed to the public. Private Lessons for all ages and abilities will still be available through Closing Day on May 8, 2022.
