The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Loveland's Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at 1:00 pm for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early).

Patients need you! Vitalant is facing a blood emergency as donated blood is going out to hospitals faster than donors are coming in, causing the blood supply to sink to its lowest level in a year. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially type O and platelet donors. Loveland will be hosting a blood drive from 10AM - 2:30 PM in the Upper Ridge Room on Monday, January 6th.

It's our last demo day of the season. Make sure to meet us at Loveland. You know the saying, April skiing is epic, so never miss an April Women's Ski Demo Day. We're the only women's ski shop and the country that host demo days exclusively for women. Skip the dude fest at the other on snow ski demos, and come ski with us. Our curated collection of skis includes only best in class selected by our team of female ski testers. You'll see skis from Kastle, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Elan, Head, Nordica, Rossignol and more. We'll also have our ski experts right there on snow with you, to help guide you, from ski to ski. The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Loveland's Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of the Ptarmigan Lift at 1:00 pm for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early).
The Ski With a Ranger Program will be taking place until the end of the season. Please check our Event Calendar for scheduled Ski With a Ranger Dates. Make plans to join us and learn more about the great world in which we live!

The 34th Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation. The ceremony is done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30am.
Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
The Honeymooner's Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30pm at the Loveland Basin featuring wedding desserts and sparkling apple cider!

Join Never Summer and Lleky on Wednesday, February 19 at Loveland Ski Area for “PEAK to PARK," a women’s meetup focused on building community and creating a supportive space to learn new tricks, ride new lines, and meet new friends!
Open to snowboarders and skiers, must be able to link turns, but no prior park experience is required. Women, trans, non-binary riders, all levels and all ages welcome.
We’ll be freeriding big mountain in the morning on the Loveland Ridge Cat, with a park progression session in the afternoon, with pointers and assistance from experienced riders.
$30 Registration fee includes: Demos from Never Summer, Entry to raffle with awesome prizes from Never Summer, and Lleky, and Aprés after the event

Come try a Proteus Snowboard and sign up to complete missions around the mountain, earn points and win prizes! Participants can sign up for the missions without getting a demo snowboard, the event is open to skiers or snowboarders.
Stop by the Proteus Snowboards tent on the Lower Patio in between the Ticket Office and Repair Shop to receive instructions to download the mission app to know how to get points while you are enjoying the slopes for the day.
DJ Matt Cassidy will be spinning tunes during the day while participants are competing followed by live music from Dan Costello on the Upper Main Patio from 2:30 - 5:30PM.

For more than 20 years, Backcountry Magazine has been committed to educating its community on how to safely travel untracked terrain and now were taking the message from the pages to the people.
As they travel throughout the country spreading safety and stoke, join the editors of Backcountry Magazine, alongside guides, forecasters, AIARE instructors and gear experts for a resort-based showcase of all things backcountry. We’ll have ski and board demos, educational workshops and tons of new gear to check out.

Fat Tire, Chill Foundation and Loveland Ski Area team up to bring back what has easily become one of Loveland's most popular events, the Loveland Scavenger Hunt presented by Fat Tire! Registration begins at 9AM on the Lower Basin Patio. $10 per person, teams can have 1-4 people. Registration includes a free beer! Wearing costumes will help your team earn points! The competition will start at 10AM sharp, and teams will have until 2:30PM to race around the mountain and hunt down each item on their clue sheet.
Prizes will be awarded for the most points earned and everyone over 21 gets to enjoy delicious New Belgium Beer at the Post-Hunt Celebration from 3-5PM complete with live music. Chill will be running a raffle with a ton of great prizes.
The Scavenger Hunt will raise funds to benefit the Chill Foundation’s mission of inspiring youth through board sports and building a more equitable outdoor community. Come on out for an epic day!

The John Weeks Band is a high energy blues/rock band based in Denver, Colorado. John formed the band in 2013 and they have since garnered recognition and awards as one of the top bands in Colorado. Here's how it works---take the blues, ship it to Europe, mix it up, shake it around, add killer groove and seriously good vocals and you get the sound and flavor of the John Weeks Band. The music is based on classic blues lines, but they take it in some unique and different directions. Put it all together and you get a seriously powerful yet melodic sound that is unique to this band!

Women's Free Ski Demo Day at Loveland Ski Area April 3!
It's our last demo day of the season. Make sure to meet us at Loveland. You know the saying, April skiing is epic, so never miss an April Women's Ski Demo Day. We're the only women's ski shop and the country that host demo days exclusively for women. Skip the dude fest at the other on snow ski demos, and come ski with us. Our curated collection of skis includes only best in class selected by our team of female ski testers. You'll see skis from Kastle, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Elan, Head, Nordica, Rossignol and more. We'll also have our ski experts right there on snow with you, to help guide you, from ski to ski. Here are a few tips on the ski demo process to get you started. So put it on your calendar - and we can't wait to see you at Loveland. Ski like a girl.

The race will take place off the Ptarmigan Lift in Bennett's Bowl from 10am - 2pm and will be open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Colorado based country-blues musician, Earl Nelson, is reinvigorating the field of modern americana-roots music. Influenced by everything from early 20th century hill country blues & bluegrass to the groovy 1970's era country funk. Writing about the working class American, Earl's lyrics are heavily inspired by his time working in manual labor as a welder. Focusing in on ongoing labor rights struggles, the music and lyrics behave without genre boundaries.

Patients need you! Vitalant is facing a blood emergency as donated blood is going out to hospitals faster than donors are coming in, causing the blood supply to sink to its lowest level in a year. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially type O and platelet donors. Loveland will be hosting a blood drive from 10AM - 2 PM on Friday, April 11th.

Join us on Easter Sunday for a Spring Skiing Giant Easter Egg Hunt! Gather at the Basin area for first chair at 8:30am and keep your eyes peeled for the giant hidden Easter Eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sport Shop, and wander the base area. Huge eggs mean huge prizes such as skis, snowboards, and tons of other awesome goodies. There are a limited number of these giant Easter Eggs hidden around the Basin on the slopes and only one can be claimed per person. There will also be thousands of small eggs for the little ones to collect around the base area.

SOUL PATCH, with their eclectic blend of classic rock, blues and funk has established themselves as one of Colorado’s most talented and hippest groups. Anyone who has seen SOUL PATCH live can attest to the great music and energetic atmosphere the crowd can always expect at a show. Between the band’s clever, original songwriting and their electric stage presence, SOUL PATCH is sure to entertain the eyes as well as the ears.
The members of SOUL PATCH came together after many years in the city’s diverse music scene. It’s hard not to be impressed by the powerful voice of the band’s lead-singer Missy Gutreuter. Accompanied by her guitar, Missy always lights up the stage while delivering her original lyrics to the audience with a voice that’s a welcome throwback to the classic-rock roots of rock and roll. Lead guitarist Jimmy Giachetti brings over 20 years of experience to SOUL PATCH. Jimmy’s original licks and unmistakable natural talent lend an explosive edge to this innovative group. The power and pocket groove of drummer Chris Murphy makes him the ultimate heartbeat of the band. Mike and Jimmy Chiesa on horns completes the unique sound of SOUL PATCH. Together, these fine musicians have created a sound all their own, ranging from folk to rock, blues to funk.
