The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Loveland's Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). We're the only women's ski shop and the country that host demo days exclusively for women. Skip the dude fest at the other on snow ski demos, and come ski with us. Our curated collection of skis includes only best in class selected by our team of female ski testers. You'll see skis from Kastle, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Elan, Head, Nordica, Rossignol and more. We'll also have our ski experts right there on snow with you, to help guide you, from ski to ski. Patients need you! Vitalant is facing a blood emergency as donated blood is going out to hospitals faster than donors are coming in, causing the blood supply to sink to its lowest level in a year. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially type O and platelet donors. Loveland will be hosting a blood drive from 10AM - 2:30 PM in the Upper Ridge Room on Monday, January 6th.

The 34th Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland's most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation. The ceremony is done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30am.
Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
The Honeymooner's Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30pm at the Loveland Basin featuring wedding cupcakes and sparkling apple cider!

As they travel throughout the country spreading safety and stoke, join the editors of Backcountry Magazine, alongside guides, forecasters, AIARE instructors and gear experts for a resort-based showcase of all things backcountry. We’ll have ski and board demos, educational workshops and tons of new gear to check out.

The John Weeks Band is a high energy blues/rock band based in Denver, Colorado. John formed the band in 2013 and they have since garnered recognition and awards as one of the top bands in Colorado. Colorado based country-blues musician, Earl Nelson, is reinvigorating the field of modern americana-roots music. Influenced by everything from early 20th century hill country blues & bluegrass to the groovy 1970's era country funk. Writing about the working class American, Earl's lyrics are heavily inspired by his time working in manual labor as a welder. Focusing in on ongoing labor rights struggles, the music and lyrics behave without genre boundaries.

Join us on Easter Sunday for a Spring Skiing Giant Easter Egg Hunt! Gather at the Basin area for first chair at 8:30am and keep your eyes peeled for the giant hidden Easter Eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sport Shop, and wander the base area. Huge eggs mean huge prizes such as skis, snowboards, and tons of other awesome goodies. There are a limited number of these giant Easter Eggs hidden around the Basin on the slopes and only one can be claimed per person. There will also be thousands of small eggs for the little ones to collect around the base area.

Join us on the Basin Patio to celebrate Earth Day with live music from Kedron Asphalt Palace! Named after a roller hockey rink, Kedron Asphalt Palace (KAP for short) is a reggae rock band based in Denver, CO. Comprised of Ty (guitar/vocals), John (bass/trumpet), Mick (drums), and Mclain/Euphoric Mind (keys), KAP blends reggae music with synthesizers, horns, and rock elements to create a unique reggae sound. 2-5PM!
It's more than a benefit - it's a good time with old friends and new. Join us for a fun day of spring skiing, BBQ lunch and refreshments. The day will also feature live music from Mark Morris & The Rope Duckers (with special guests), and a HUGE collection of drawing prizes while giving back to an organization that provides backcountry information and education to our community: the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC)!
Get your tickets before 4:30 pm on Friday, April 25th to help us manage check in and avoid lines! If you do miss the pre-registration cut off, we will have day-of registration from 8:30-9:30 am Saturday, April 26th.

He focuses his energy to outdoor mountain lifestyle/culture events. Focusing our travels to mountain towns has also given him a great palate of mountain music styles to draw from including styles from North America, France, Italy, Russia, Argentina, and Ireland.

SOUL PATCH, with their eclectic blend of classic rock, blues and funk has established themselves as one of Colorado’s most talented and hippest groups. Anyone who has seen SOUL PATCH live can attest to the great music and energetic atmosphere the crowd can always expect at a show. Between the band’s clever, original songwriting and their electric stage presence, SOUL PATCH is sure to entertain the eyes as well as the ears.
The members of SOUL PATCH came together after many years in the city’s diverse music scene. It’s hard not to be impressed by the powerful voice of the band’s lead-singer Missy Gutreuter. Accompanied by her guitar, Missy always lights up the stage while delivering her original lyrics to the audience with a voice that’s a welcome throwback to the classic-rock roots of rock and roll. Lead guitarist Jimmy Giachetti brings over 20 years of experience to SOUL PATCH. Jimmy’s original licks and unmistakable natural talent lend an explosive edge to this innovative group. The power and pocket groove of drummer Chris Murphy makes him the ultimate heartbeat of the band. Mike and Jimmy Chiesa on horns completes the unique sound of SOUL PATCH. Together, these fine musicians have created a sound all their own, ranging from folk to rock, blues to funk.
