Live Music feat. Tiffany Christopher

March 5, 2016

Tiffany Christopher, the one woman band, returns to Loveland with her energetic and fun show.

“A stunning display of passion, talent, and creativity. Tiffany’s stuff is so damn real it’s hard to take your eyes and ears off of her. Very, very few can express the human condition as Tiffany can, and then leave a crowd feeling better for it. Don’t take my word on it, take the word of the folks that matter: the audience.”
-Harold Wieties, of George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Arkansas

Live Music feat. Bottom Dollar String Band

12:30 pm 3:30 pm
March 13, 2016

Bottom Dollar String Band has been a growing bluegrass powerhouse in Austin since their formation in the Texas Hill Country in 2011. Hunter Hollingsworth (mandolin/lead vocals) and Josh Moore (banjo/vocals) are the founding members with Devon Canady (guitar/vocals) joining a year later after a seemingly harmless garage jam. Since then they have explored a sound that borrows from the high-lonesome harmonies and blazing fiddle tunes of bluegrass and blends it with genre-bending medleys, sing-along pop covers, and their own rep of quotable original songs. Labels aside, Bottom Dollar strives to strip music down to its roots and express the human experience with themes of Americana folklore. The band is beginning their reach out-of-state and has entered into the Telluride and RockyGrass band competitions this summer. They have also gotten to share the stage with such notable acts as the Duhks, Barefoot Movement, Town Mountain, and White Denim.

Live Music feat. Trouble in the Heartland

2:30 pm 5:30 pm
March 26, 2016

We promise to bring you the power, the passion, the guts, the Glory Days and more. “Rosalita,” anyone? Check. “Born to Run,” “Born in the USA?” What do you take us for, amateurs? We’ll take you to the Jersey shore by way of the Badlands, with a stop in Detroit. You’ll be dancing in the dark and proving it all night, trust us. There, have we pimped enough song titles?

Trouble in the Heartland is Colorado’s first, best and only Bruce Springsteen tribute band. With a focus on Bruce’s 70s and 80s glory days, Trouble in the Heartland brings a  dynamic, uplifting, kick-ass show that takes you back to the boardwalk with that ragged E St. swagger we know you’re hankering for.

Join us on the Basin Patio after a great day on the slopes for live music, drink specials, and a rocking party with all your favorite Bruce Springsteen tunes!

Live Music feat. Eldren and Larry Myer

2:30 pm 5:30 pm
April 2, 2016

To support the New Belgium Mountain Adventure, local Denver band Eldren joins us to rock out on the Basin Patio after a great day of scavenger hunting .  "We are the melodies in your dreams. The moments from your past. And the future that you desire.  We are Eldren.  And so are you."

" By design and inclination, these guys have a broad palette of instrumentation and sounds to use in the songs they write and the shows they play. "
- Tom Murphy, Westword Magazine

Eldren plays starts at 3pm, after Larry Myer.

Larry Myer is an energetic singer, songwriter and acoustic performer. He has played more than 200 towns in his homestate of Iowa and more than half the states of America, working his way up from a busking street performer to concert venues around the country. He has released two recordings, the landmark "Flatlands" CD and the followup, "The Ring and Other Ballads". Larry is also a winner of the Branson Songwriting Contest.

Larry's live show is an aggressive performance that connects with a wide array of audiences.

"Myer's voice is the trademark of Iowa's best acoustic rock", The Des Moines Register.

Larry has been billed with dozens of reknowned musicians including Richard Thompson, Edwin McCain, Arlo Guthrie, Todd Snider, John Hammond, David Bromberg, and America. Larry Myer has been on a "perpetual tour" since sometime in the 80's. It's a good quality, fun show .

Live Music feat. Andy Reiner

12:30 pm 3:30 pm
April 17, 2016

Andy Reiner, an award-winning fiddler, composer and educator originally from Lexington, MA, began playing at age five with the Reiner Family Band.  He has since developed his own style featuring creative, rhythmic melodies, and thoughtful fusing of world styles.  Earning a BM in Violin Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston launched Andy into a flurry of touring and teaching around the globe - including Heavy Metal with Devil in the Kitchen, Folk/Hip-Hop with FiddleFoxx, Swedish/Appalachian with Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers, Electronic/Celtic with Firecloud, and Bluegrass with The Earth Stringband, which toured Southeast Asia on the 2011 American Music Abroad tour for the State Department and Jazz at Lincoln Center.  Andy currently tours both as a solo artist and with Colorado jamgrass band Whitewater Ramble, and composes fiddle tunes, songs, new works, and arrangements for string orchestra.  He teaches improvisation, composition and fiddle styles privately and at music camps across the US.  Andy’s compositions have been performed by the Berklee World Strings at the Kennedy Center, the Berklee Performance Center, and national ASTA conventions.

Join us on the Basin Patio as Andy rocks out skiers and riders with his eclectic mix of tunes.  BBQ, drink specials, and some amazing music to complete the day!

Live Music feat. Whitewater Ramble Trio

2:30 pm 5:30 pm
May 7, 2016

Described as “High-Octane Rocky Mountain DanceGrass”, Whitewater Ramble (WWR) uses a simple recipe to craft it’s sound: start with bluegrass instrumentation, add drums, and finish with a boundary-less approach to grassing-up everything from disco house grooves to roots to Americana. The Colorado-bred quintet combines the elements of mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums and vocals to explore the musical boundaries of multiple genres and to fuel their own mixture of original music and innovative cover song interpretations. Whether playing an intimate encore, acoustic and unplugged in the crowd, or surfing on top of the upright bass, Whitewater Ramble delivers a powerful and memorable live performance.
